How to increase your strength with a regiment

Yummy food to increase metabolism


Aloha my lovelies...

Today i will tell you guys about yummy foods that are very good for your health and your taste buds! A good breakfast consits of a high protein meal like yogurt. It is fulfilling and maybe add it with a wheat toast. the reason for proten is that your body feeds off of the energy it gives so that it starts off your day good and its a very healthy meal.Another good fufilling meal for the morning and my personal favorite is oatmeal! the reason its so good for you is that other than its natural nutrients when taken in the morning it settles in your stomach and later the oatmeal expands in your stomach causing a full effect in your tummy so that it feels like you ate a lot but at the same time you really just ate a well porpotioned meal. always make sure to eat in between your meals. Honey granola bars like natures valley could be a good example of a yummy snack or maybe a fruit like a banana ( protein) or an apple ( fiber). For lunch maybe a sandwhich ( tuna, ham and cheese , etc.), rememer by subsituting wheat instead of white bread can really be good for you. Maybe also a progresso soup ( any kind ). And lets not forget dinner. yum ! some buttered vegtables on the side with a 8oz piece of sirloin and brown rice. ( remember brown is better). A good alternative is that if you are going to have a salad on the side of your dinner that it be with less dressing as possible. For dinner try not to eat past 7 pm to give your stomach room for digestion. And do not eat a huge meal. A good portion meal is the size of your regular plastic plate which is about 8-10 inches circumfrence. remember to excersize in between wether it be walking to and from your car , yoga , running , or simply some crunches by the couch while watching tv. Do workouts for at least 30 minutes for 3 days a week. Eat right and workout and youll see sucess. Thats it. no pills , lipo nothing. like i said loosing weight is a PROCESS so dont expect to see results after night. well my beauties remember always stay healthy!

5 simple steps to sucess


Welcome back my beautiful people!!!!!!!!!!
There are five simple steps in weight loss. they are: precontemplation, contemplation, preparation, action and maintenance.
Its all simple. Gwen Robbins book A Way of Wellness is a great source to find make good life changing styles. Its so simple. First we need to be aware of our health. Go for a doctor check up its always good to know the status of our bodies. next we have to have a plan ( example: for me i promised to work out 4 times a week for an hour doing cardio)The number one way of cardio is runnig.If you dont like outdoors running on a treadmill is a really really good and fast way of loosing weight.Maybe you preffer the alternative then run outside. Maybe add on some ankle weights on the ankles for extra weight and to strenthen the legs and to define them. Next We identify a goal. A realistic one not like " i will loose 30 lbs in 2 weeks" . Also make a plan that is measureable wether it be loosing inches of body or weight you can weight on the scale. And last we ave to take action and maintain it with self motivation. Once the goal has been reached reward yourself. Not on anything that can relapse you back to the old ways but better yet help ypu. Maybe buying new clothes or a new cd for music to run to. I know its simple common sense things but we must start from the basics to get to the top. Remember to always stay healthy and happy .

you can work out even in an office


hello everyone
Thanks to those who read my first blog and to those just joining a big ALOHA! So i started taking this Yoga class at 24 hr. fitness and found that if you balance excersises work out evem in daily routines. by balancing on one leg you aquire your body to blance causing tightning in the core. By subsituting standing on one leg instead of two you already made a change. Example: when washing dishes, cooking, brushing teeth.

Another subsitution you could do is walking . The American Heart Association in strength and balance says that by walking distinctively by heel then toe you improve your balance as well stretch your thighs and shins and work out your calfs more. you can do this while walking the dog or simply geting the mail. practice this 6-8 times a day.

And last but not least excersises for when sitting on a chair at work school whatever. Doing leg extensions are great way to strengthen the thigh and leg muscles. you do this by simply sitting on a chir and extending the leg up to wast level keeping the entire leg parallel to the floor. repeat this 7-10 times on each leg :>
